Since I'm still in Paris I thought it's time to show you some of my current french favorites:
Normally, I'm not so much into Make-Up so my daily routine is pretty simple. I put on some mascara, maybe a bit of concealer and if I'm motivated a little bit of eyeshadow or blush. No foundation and definitely no contouring. Sometimes I even leave my flat with (almost) nothing on my face, but there's one thing I always take care of: Doing my eyebrows. It's funny because I'm wearing bangs so you don't really see them, but I feel much more fierce with made eyebrows. YSL's new Couture Brow Gel sounds very promising, but right now I'm using an eyebrow gel made by Catrice and I'm quite satisfied with it, so I'll definitely use this up first.
Autumn is coming, which means that cold temperatures and windy weather will dry out my skin for sure. Since I'm a big fan of L'Occitane's Shea Hand Cream and I've heard very good things about this very nourishing face cream with 25% Shea butter, this will definitely be the right cream to use when it's freezing!
This summer I wasn't wearing my perfume from Chloé so much because it was so hot in Milan so that I just couldn't stand the smell of it. Right now it's close to getting empty (it was on my birthday wishlist actually, but nobody heard me crying!) and I will repurchase it because the scent is so lovely for fall and winter, especially on a heavy knit pullover which will spread the soft smell while moving around.
Speaking about autumn, I'm so in love with dark colors on the nails again! Unfortunately I didn't bring any nail polish with me and as a model it's not so intelligent to use nail polish all the time too, because clients will remove it anyway to put their own color (or no color at all) on your nails. Beside this, I've discovered Chanel's beautiful, super dark blackish color Orage which will look absolutely cool on both nails and feet.
While doing a manicure on the sofa, it's always a pleasure to lighten a candle with an attractive scent. I've seen so many Diptyque candles here in Paris, it seems that everybody has them. They smell so good, especially the one with Vanilla since it gets you in a very cosy mood.
A very few of you might know that I'm actually wearing glasses most of the time when I'm not working as a model. About a year ago, I bought a new frame in the biggest store for glasses I've ever seen. It's called Grand Optical and located at Champs Elysées, and it is literally grand. If you are in Paris and would like to buy glasses (or sunglasses), go there and I promise that you won't regret it. This time, I found only this online reference to show you the glasses I've been lurking on: These stunning optical glasses are from Dior, they are so pretty and minimalistic with a nice francophile touch.
I've been craving these shoes by Saint Laurent for about a year now, but I'm sure that I will never buy them because I just don't take so much care of my shoes that I'd like to spend so much money. Mia, my dog, also loves to step on my feet while I'm walking her. But they're lovely, right?
Speaking of Saint Laurent, I got an amazing present from my boyfriend for our anniversary this year. I was searching for a small wallet for quite a while, because the old one I got was way too big for some bags I own and I started to hoard things inside it, especially coins and vouchers I got from the supermarket. This little purse by Saint Laurent is actually made for men, but I don't mind that. Since I started using this one I put all my spare coins in a big Mason Jar and collect them until it's full.
While I was doing a lot of castings this week I was also running through some nice stores as you might have seen on my Instagram. I discovered Chanel's new Boy Bag Collection and this one on the picture instantly caught my eye. I'll have to admit that I'm not a big fan of the typical quilted versions and I'm also not into very shiny or exaggerated bags. This one is matte, dark black as the night and so edgy because of the used look and the minimalistic design.
How about you, do you also have a French Fave?
