Two weeks ago I told you that the lovely team of Vegan Beauty Basket, a company who sends vegan and cruelty free products to you on a monthly basis, will deliver me their first basket to test all the products. And here it is! I just came home from Milan a few days ago and it already arrived, what a lovely surprise!
When I opened the black box, I firstly saw the cute thank-you-card.
Also, there's a mint-colored paper in it which describes every product and the ingredients of it. This can be useful especially for people who might be allergic to something or especially interested in the consistence of the products.
The box contains five beauty products in their original size from Austria, United Kingdom and USA: A 2in1 Conditioner/Shaving Cream by Go&Home, a 2in1 Shampoo/Shower Gel, also by Go&Home, a lip balm from Hurraw!, a reviving eye cream made by Skin Blossom and a nail polish by Little Ondine.
Skin Blossom's reviving eye cream has a light texture and contains 85% organic ingredients. It's scentless and feels very smooth when applied.
Little Ondine's nail polishes are composed of natural resin, water and organic colourants. Unlike other nail polishes, you can peel it off without any usage of nail polish remover. Due to the natural ingredients, it's also odour free so you can basically apply it everywhere without offending people. The texture of it is a bit more slimy than I'm used to, but there's a huge variety of colors and I really like the idea of natural nail polish.
This two products are made by Go&Home, an Austrian company which produces natural and vegan cosmetics. The Shaving Cream and Conditioner seduces with Orange, the Shampoo and Body Wash has a Citrus scent which might be a bit too strong for me. In addition, the Shower Gel makes a very good bath soak with a lot of bubbles!
As you might know already, I got a thing for lip balms, I just love them. So now comes my favorite, the Hurraw! lip balm with cherry flavor. It leaves a soft tint on the lips and reminds me a bit of Clinique's Chubby Sticks concerning the opacity of them. Hurraw! also offers transparent balms like the one with coconut. It's incredibly smooth and I think it will be my new go-to lip balm.
The prices of the Vegan Beauty Basket vary between 23,90 (3-month subscription) and 27,90 (tryout). If you subscribe to their newsletter, you'll get 10% off.
