Hello, late May Favorites! I had problems with choosing them because there were so many products which I liked this May. So, here we go:
Finally it feels like summer so it's time for bright lipsticks! Revlon's Colorburst Matte Balm (10€) in Unapologetic is quite an eyecatcher, I only wear it when it's sunny outside because it's totally not a color for autumn or even winter. The color is very bright, almost neon which can be cool sometimes. If you apply it, you will get a fresh, minty scent in your nose.
To keep my lips hydrated for the day, I always carry a lip balm with me. Clinique's famous Chubby Sticks (20€) give only a little hint of color so it's possible to apply it without a mirror. I discovered this Chubby Sticks when I was working in Paris, a Make-Up Artist used three different ones on me to achieve the desired look. I decided to go for the color Whoppin' Watermelon because of its very subtle yet flattering color.
I'm a big fan of Cream Blushes and I've read so many reviews about the Dream Touch Cream Blushes from Maybelline (10€). The color Berry looks - as the name suggests - very like a berry-ish and kind of dark for my skin tone, but the finished look is really subtle because it blends so easily. A little goes a long way, so be sure to only use one fingertip for each cheek.
As if it wouldn't already be enough of pinkish tones, I totally fell in love with Essie's still hyped Fiji (10€) again. It's probably the color I like the most together with Essie's Blanc which is just a very cool toned White.
Also, this time, I discovered an interesting book published by The New York Times which is called 36 Hours (30€). It's a guide which shows travel opportunities for a short stays (only 36 hours, hehe) in different European cities. With its lovely detailed illustrations and the colorful cover it's definitely one of my favorite guides ever.
This book is also a hint about what post will come very soon, because brace yourselves: I'm going to Milan!
