I've tried various concealers over the past few years. Different textures and different colors, and there was always such a difference concerning the result. Here are my Tops and Flops:
Benefit Fake Up: I got this as a sample a while ago when I bought something else from Benefit. The outside of the stick is translucent and similar to a lip balm concerning the consistency, and on the inside of it you got the concealing color itself. The product claims to nourish the skin which is actually true, but in my opinion my skin feels a bit sticky after applying it. It covers up light undereye circles, but it's definitely not one of my favorites. Fake Up costs 25€ in full size, available in three different tones.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer: I bought this product about a year ago when it was already hyped on YouTube. Back then I was in Paris for modeling and it was absolutely impossible to find it in a store. After a couple of visits in different shops, a salesman was so nice to tell me that this product doesn't exist in France. Help me out people, is this really true? Anyway, when I came back to Austria I bought it for 10€. Did it do anything for me? Not really. Beside the weird sponge on top of it, this concealer gave me a cakey feeling under my eyes and the color was too yellowish for my skin. It might work for people with very nourished skin under the eyes and the right skin tone.
Rival de Loop Concealer: This concealer was also hyped on YouTube, especially on German channels since the product is only available there. A friend of mine bought it for me as a present when she visited her family. It is very cheap, you can purchase it for not even 2€. When it comes to the color choice, I can't say too much about it because I only saw the one I got from my friend. Mine is very light, it might be a bit too light for me, but I think that some people with very fair skin could be happy with this. The texture is a bit creamy already, so using an eye cream would be recommended to avoid cakey eyes.
Bobbi Brown Corrector and Bobbi Brown Concealer: These two should be used together. The Corrector is made to cover up the blueish/reddish color under the eyes and lightens the skin. The Concealer is used afterwards to brighten up the skin even a bit more and in addition, there's also an almost translucent powder next to it to fix the artwork. From all concealers I've tried this is definitely the most creamy, yet opaque one. I would not recommend using it without eye cream, but it does a very good job, also for people with heavy undereye circles. The Concealer Kit with the powder in it costs 35€, the Corrector costs 29€, but both last ages.
MAC Select Moisturecover Concealer: I think this is my favorite of all of them. The texture is already creamy, but still very light. It is kind of opaque, but not as the Bobbi Brown set. I'd say that it's a very good solution for everyday use because it's not so heavy on the skin as other concealers are but still covers undereye circles quite well. With 19€, this concealer is more on the pricier side, but I think it's worth it. A big pro is the moisture in it, from all the concealers on the photo this is the only one where it's not necessary using eye cream before applying something.
