Since I'm originally from Austria, I spend a lot of time at home as well to finish my studies and of course, work here as a model as well. The jobs (or the importance of it) might be smaller than in fashion capitals like Paris or London, but usually the team is less stressed and the work mostly feels more personal. Last week I did the Lookbook (if you want to know more about the model vocabulary, check out my post below) for the Spring/Summer Collection for the designer Hold, an Austrian Fashion Designer. The shoot took place at Wolke 21, an entire floor you cant rent for events. It's located on the 21st floor (hence the name) of a big building in Vienna. The view was amazing, please excuse the reflection of my hand in the picture below.
I am not living in Vienna, so I needed to go there by bus, but after all this years of modeling I am used to this. In the bus I always use the time to do some work for university, read a book on my Kindle or just listen to music and relax.
This time, the team was small, but they worked effectively. Kaya did my very natural Make-Up (you know, I love this!) and her boyfriend Clark was responsible for making some super snaps. They own a little Creative Agency and you immediately feel that they have a good flow which is always super for the whole team. Enough of advertisement, but to me this was such an interesting idea of building a business so I thought I mention it. Could you imagine working with your spouse? Anyway, fortunately the weather was fine beside the storm outside, but the lighting conditions were perfect. I personally enjoyed this job because of the overall good mood and the wearable fashion.
We finished at around 5pm (I was starving! We needed to hurry up a bit so we skipped the lunch break) and after I took the bus back home. At around 9pm, a big pizza and my boyfriend were already waiting for me. Here's a little sneak peak of the results. What's your opinion, do you like the pictures? Let me know!
